Between 18 and 19 September 2012 the visit of an important ministerial and business people delegation headed by H.E. Bernard G. Dompok, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities of Malaysia had taken place.

The Malaysian delegation had attended the works of Conference and Seminary of Palm Oil, organized by the Palm Oil Council of Malaysia with the assistance of Malaysian Embassy to Romania and under the supervision of of European Council on Tourism and Trade.
Concluding the conference H.E. Bernard G. Dompok , Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities of Malaysia had attended a working dinner with a delegation of European Council on Tourism and Trade headed by professor dr.Anton Caragea and hosted by Malaysian Ambassador Dato`Nik Mustafa Kamal Nik Ahmad.
The visit of Malaysia ministerial and business community delegation was considered as a success and also the initiatives of organizing the first ever Romanian Conference on Palm Oil was appraised, the enthusiastical response of the Romanian business community and markets will insure a future success, concluded professor dr. Anton Caragea.
Also the skilful exertions of Malaysian Ambassador H.E. Dato`Nik Mustafa Kamal Nik Ahmad are recognized and appreciated by the of European Council on Tourism and Trade, not many ambassadors have the opportunity to organize such an impressive event.
Ambassador H.E. Dato`Nik Mustafa Kamal Nik Ahmad expressed his gratitude for this kind remarks by professor dr. Anton Caragea, President of of European Council on Tourism and Trade and stated his desire to keep the favorable momentum created by this visits.

The working dinner was also the venue for discussing statistics and business opportunities for European market and assessing the necessity of palm oil for our industry and also created the favorable environment for a constructive dialogue between H.E. Bernard G. Dompok, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities of Malaysia and Professor Dr. Anton Caragea.
