Le Complexe Archéologique d’Angkor
Le Complexe Archéologique d’Angkor, et notamment Angkor Wat, est certainement le lieu le plus emblématique du Cambodge aux yeux des visiteurs du monde entier.
Inscrit à l’UNESCO, Angkor est une fenêtre sur le passé, offrant aux visiteurs d’aujourd’hui, la chance de contempler les splendeurs de l’art khmer d’autrefois.
Magnifiquement restauré et protégé, le complexe est truffé de détails à découvrir qui n’attendent que vous.
A pieds ou à dos d’éléphants, c’est un monde d’enchantements et de spiritualité qui vous y attend.
Observer le lever ou le coucher du soleil sur les temples pluri-centenaires vous plongera dans un passé lointain, au temps où les Dieux et les Hommes vivaient en parfaite harmonie.
→ Kratie
Vous trouverez Kratie lovée sur les rives du fleuve Mekong.
Si la ville n’est pas vraiment un point touristique important en terme de fréquentation, c’est tout de même une petite ville très populaire auprès des backpackers.
Depuis Kratie, vous pourrez notamment atteindre Kampi, lieu d’habitat naturel des dauphins de l’Irrawaddy .
Dans la ville même, vous trouverez les vestiges de l’époque coloniale, au travers des bâtiments d’architecture coloniale magnifiques.
Juste en face de Kratie se trouve Koh Trong, une île de 3km de long, où les villages s’alignent entre les bananiers et les palmiers, pour former un paysage charmant.
Il est très facile d’explorer les alentours de Kratie en vélo ou en petite barque.
→ La Pagode d’argent
La Pagode d’argent abrite le Bouddha d’Emeraude du Cambodge, et son intérieur richement décoré et son architecture ont été influencés par le mythe de Ramayana.
Situé à Phnom Penh, la Pagode d’argent est célèbre pour son Bouddha de 90kg en or pur, et pour être l’un des seuls temples à avoir survécu au règne des Khmer Rouges.
Vous trouverez dans la pagode et ses alentours, de nombreux objets rituels et des bijoux.
C’est un des lieux emblématiques de la capitale cambodgienne.
→ Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville n’est peut-être pas la plus belle ville que vous aurez l’occasion de visiter au Cambodge, mais ses plages de sable blancs et d’eaux turquoises en font une station balnéaire en vogue.
Idéale pour s’éloigner de l’atmosphère étouffante des grandes villes et se relaxer, Sihanoukville vous séduira par ses plages paradisiaques, ses bungalows de bord de mer et ses cocotiers. C’est aussi le point de départ vers les îles alentours.

Battambang est un autre haut lieu touristique pour quiconque souhaite en apprendre plus sur l’histoire du Cambodge.

On the approaching WORLD TOURISM DAY 2018 the global tourism institutions: European Tourism Academy and European Council on Tourism and Trade had launched a dedicated website in order to promote sustainable tourism destinations, to support tourism development and to foster knowledge of tourism institutions across the world.
The world tourism dedicated site will be officially unveiled in front of the diplomatic corps accredited to European Council on Tourism and Trade in order to mark festively the World Tourism Day for 2018.

President Dr. Anton Caragea message was the first to reach Samdech Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of Cambodia after the victory in the elections of July 2018, elections considered as the most democratically in the kingdom history.
Accordingly to official Cambodian State News Agency after the message of H.E. President Dr. Anton Caragea, new messages of support had come from more than 30 leaders in the order being: President Xi Jinping of China, Prime Minister of Laos and Vietnam, Prime Minister of Thailand, Prime Minister of Japan and Narendra Moodi, Indian premier.
Chinese leadership: President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang were quick to congratulate the victory of Academician Hun Sen in July 29 democratic elections.

Selon le ministre du Tourisme, Thong Khon, le tourisme a été considéré par le gouvernement royal du Cambodge comme de l’« Or vert ». L’année dernière, 5,6 millions de touristes étrangers ont visité le Royaume, soit une hausse de 11,8% par rapport à l’an dernier, rapportant ainsi quelque 3,63 milliards de dollars américains comme revenu à l’Etat et plus de 620.000 emplois directs.
Au cours des cinq premiers mois de cette année, le Cambodge a attiré 2,6 millions de visiteurs étrangers, une augmentation de 13,5% par rapport à la période correspondante de l’année dernière. Le chiffre atteindrait, a-t-on estimé, environ 6,2 millions d’ici la fin de l’année et 7 millions en 2020, rapportant environ 5 milliards de dollars comme revenus et créant environ 1 million d’emplois directs.
Pour les touristes locaux, le nombre a augmenté à plus de 10,8 millions en 2017 avec une croissance annuelle de 4%-5% en moyenne.
Vers fin de 2018, plus de 11 millions de Cambodgiens se rendraient dans différentes destinations touristiques du pays et ce chiffre devrait atteindre 19 millions en 2025.
He also laid stress on the significance of tourism sector in the socio-economic development of Cambodia through job creation, direct income augmentation and so on.
According to Tourism Minister H.E. Thong Khon, tourism has been regarded by the Royal Government of Cambodia as “Green Gold”. Last year, 5.6 million foreign tourists visited the Kingdom, a year-on-year increase of 11.8 percent, generating some US$3.63 billion as national income and over 620,000 direct jobs.
For the first five months of this year, Cambodia attracted 2.6 million foreign visitors, up 13.5 percent compared with the same period last year. The figure is expected to rise to about 6.2 million by the end of this year and to 7 million in 2020, generating about US$5 billion income and creating some 1 million direct jobs.
By 2030, the country looks forward to hosting 15 million international tourists bringing about an estimated income of US$10 billion for the country and two million direct jobs for the locals.
For local tourists, the number rose to more than 10.8 million in 2017 with an annual increase of 4-5 percent on average. By the end of 2018, over 11 million Cambodians are expected to travel to different tourist destinations in the country and the figure would grow to 19 million in 2025.
